Data assimilation in nuclear power plant core

Nuclear core modeling is among the new topics using data assimilation. As for other subjects the interest are focused on field reconstruction and parameters estimation. The common simulation of neutron fields is already very accurate. Thus, on one hand we used those methods to investigate how to use together information coming form several instruments and evaluate the impact of instrument lost. On another hand, we are interested in getting best parameter estimation processing a large set of data. The final purpose is to improve simulation on coming nuclear core loading patterns.
