We analyze spin transport in double quantum dots in magnetic fields in the spin blockade regime. In particular, the effect of hyperfine interaction on spin blockade will be discussed. we will show that the current presents hysteretic behaviour as a function of magnetic field in the region close to the singlet-triplet states crossing.
We analyze as well the spin dynamics in the presence of crossed dc and ac magnetic fields. In this configuration, Rabi oscillations due to inter-dot tunnel compete with intra-dot Rabi oscillations between spin up and down states induced by the time dependent magnetic field, giving rise to a complicated time dependent behaviour of the current.
